Center of Maritime Technologies (CMT)
The CMT in Hamburg is a non-profit organization in the field of the maritime economy. It supports shipyards, maritime service providers, authorities, companies from the supply and shipping industry, as well as science and teaching in research, development and innovation.
Dipl. Ing. Matthias Krause
Matthias Krause studied mechanical engineering at Leibniz University in Hanover with a focus on manufacturing technology and production planning. He then worked for over four years in the research department of Meyer Werft GmbH in Papenburg. His main task there was the development of simulation tools and their practical use. Krause has been a research assistant at the CMT since 2003. He supports the overall coordination of research activities and works on research projects on material flow simulation as well as on innovative joining processes and materials. His tasks also include technical and administrative project coordination.
